The Big City Band is a 6-piece rockin’ country band formed in 2017. Their unique sound features gritty lead vocals fused with the smooth sound of family harmonies. Growing up the band was inspired by the traditional country music sounds of Merle Haggard and southern rock sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their hometown of Grottoes, Virginia is a small town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains thus the name, “The Big City Band”. This group has built quite a following of loyal fans known as the ‘BCB Strangers’ and has become a premiere party band in the state of Virginia. A Big City Band show features an up tempo mix from all genres of music along with original tunes that will make you dance the night away.
